| SPECIFIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS |

Applicants are required to have at least a score of 55 in the ALES exam (Equally Weighted field). If available, YDS/ÜDS results or another internationally recognized language score approved by the Interuniversity Board is taken into account. Evaluation for admission is based on 50% ALES, 40% undergraduate GPA, and 10% foreign language score. The total score must be at least 60. For applicants with no valid language exam result, the language score is calculated as zero. Successful applicants are placed according to highest scores within the announced quotas. In the case of a tie, the applicant with the higher ALES score is prioritized. |

| The Master’s Program with Thesis consists of 24 national credits and 120 ECTS credits. The program includes at least seven courses, one seminar, and a thesis. One academic year corresponds to 60 ECTS credits. |
| PROFILE OF THE PROGRAMME |

| The Master’s Program in Guidance and Psychological Counseling includes both theoretical and practical coursework. Courses are delivered in technology-integrated classrooms. The program admits approximately 8–10 students per semester. The program, conducted in the Faculty of Education at Ondokuz Mayıs University Kurupelit Campus, is supported by 4 Professors, 3 Associate Professors, 2 Assistant Professors, and 3 Research Assistants with PhD degrees |

| Graduates work as specialist psychological counselors in institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, private educational institutions, Guidance and Research Centers, the Ministries of Justice and Health, law enforcement units, and other related public and private organizations. |
| ACCESS TO FURTHER STUDIES |

| Graduates who successfully complete the Master’s degree and obtain valid ALES and foreign language scores may pursue doctoral studies in their own field or related disciplines. |
| EXAMINATION REGULATIONS, ASSESSMENT AND GRADING |

| Attendance is compulsory. Students who exceed 30% absenteeism in a course are considered unsuccessful. Course grades are determined as 40% midterm and 60% final examination. Practical course performance and submitted reports are also included in assessment processes. |

| Students who complete all compulsory credits (24 credits), fulfill attendance requirements, and successfully defend their thesis are eligible for graduation. |

| The program provides 1 classroom and 1 seminar room, as well as 5 counseling rooms for individual and group counseling practices. All classrooms and seminar rooms are equipped with projection systems and computers. A computer laboratory with full internet access and an educational library is also available. Student mobility is provided through Erasmus agreements with foreign universities. Students have access to on-campus dormitories, dining, and social/sports facilities. Graduates may be employed in public and private institutions providing psychological counseling services. |
